Toward Others...
From my devotions this morning:
“I condemn no other man’s conscience: their conscience may save them, and mine must save me.”
~St. John Fisher
We should remember, in all the controversies in which we engage, to treat our opponents as if they were acting in good faith, even if they seem to us to be acting out of spite or self-interest.
“Those with good sense are slow to anger,
and it is their glory to overlook an offense.”
~Proverbs 19:11
“A generous person will be enriched,
and one who refreshes others will be refreshed.”
~Proverbs 11:25
“O Lord, do not leave me alone,
my Strength, make haste to help me!”
~Psalm 22:19
